Summer public learning and judicial fellowships provide important hands-on learning experiences for law students. Over the last five years, the School of Law has provided more than $1.6 million in summer fellowship grants to students.
The Atlanta Semester in Practice is an immersive program that allows School of Law students to extern nearly full-time with judicial, government, nonprofit or corporate counsel offices in our state's capital while taking classes online.
The law school's advocacy program is counted among the best in the nation and helps to prepare our students to be effective advocates in and out of the courtroom. Over the past five years, our students have captured 30 national/regional titles.
Experiential learning opportunities like the Wilbanks CEASE Clinic provide a hands-on, purpose-driven legal educational experience. The School of Law offers 17 clinics/externships.
The School of Law offers an Undergraduate Minor in Law, Jurisprudence, and the State for UGA students.
The School of Law's innovative mentoring program has the ability to connect every first-year student with a four-person support team before they arrive on campus each fall.
